A Little Golden Book with one-page illustrated descriptions for each of various heroes from the Bible:
Adam, Noah, Abraham, Joseph, his brothers, Moses, Joshua, Gideon---he gets a two-page spread, Samuel, Saul, David---he also gets two pages, Solomon, Elijah, Elisha, Jeremiah, Daniel, Joshua, Cyrus, and the trio, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.
It's interesting to see what aspects of their lives are chosen for the short paragraph descriptions.
