This turn of the century (19th to 20th) story of a man who is found as feral, is still a good exploration of the issues around such incidents. although the story of his origins is implausibly high end contributing to the happy ending. Still an excellent book. The scientists, and in particular her father have some nice nuances in both their faults and their ability to see their own faults if hit over the head with them with sufficient moral force. Gaffney has moved on to write things that are more women's fiction and less romance than this earlier work. She's good whatever she's writing. no reviews | add a review
