In one of the blurbs on this book used the phrase roller coaster to describe the twists and turns. To me, these get boring and predictable. The second part of this book is a retelling/reinterpretation of Genesis and, to my mind, not a particularly insightful one. I do not find the basic premises of this book and its predecessor interesting. The bickering between the siblings is annoying. I can see why the book might have offended some particularly shallow and overly sensitive readers. But it is not controversial in any particularly interesting way. ( ) no reviews | add a review

The last few days have seemed like a lifetime for Dexter and Daphna Wax. Between the various attempts on their lives, the assault on their father, and the discovery that their deceased mother had been thousands of years old-they barely have enough energy to stand, let alone save the world. Unfortunately, they don't have a choice. If they work together, the twins might stand a chance. But are they really working together? No library descriptions found. |
