Jesse and Gideon have to find Derek's missing nephew who has disappeared while researching Gideon and Emma's possession. After finding Jonah, Jesse realizes that they may actually be close to discovering the truth about Emma's disappearance. Add to that introducing David's sexy counterpart in their dimension, this makes for a good read. As usual, my only complaint is the I WANT MORE!!! Craig leaves me craving the next installment of her series. This book isn't for people who dislike BDSM. It definitely isn't for the reader who can't stand the idea of blood and sex. It's a combination that I can only handle in paranormals. Since Gideon is a vampire and Jesse is immortal, it doesn't detract from the story for me. Plus, the fact that Gideon doesn't derive pleasure from actual cruelty makes it easier for me to take. He truly wants to bring Jesse pleasure, and the reader knows that Gideon doesn't for Jesse to do anything he doesn't want. ( )
