So, I really liked the Fist book--[b:The Last Vampire|137972|The Last Vampire (The Last Vampire, #1)|Christopher Pike|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1172091858s/137972.jpg|757764]. But I thought the second book --[b:Black Blood|84073|Black Blood (The Last Vampire, #2)|Christopher Pike|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1171048972s/84073.jpg|81165]-- went slowly downhill as the story progressed. This was a shame, because I thought [b:The Last Vampire|137972|The Last Vampire (The Last Vampire, #1)|Christopher Pike|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1172091858s/137972.jpg|757764] had a good storyline and was really eager to read the sequel's.

So, yeah. I gave this * * * * because even though I was really disappointed by [b:Black Blood|84073|Black Blood (The Last Vampire, #2)|Christopher Pike|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1171048972s/84073.jpg|81165], I liked [b:The Last Vampire|137972|The Last Vampire (The Last Vampire, #1)|Christopher Pike|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1172091858s/137972.jpg|757764] enough to boost the stars up. (:

I thought this book was really good and it left it on a real cliff hanger at the end, can't wait to read the next one. ( )
