A fun little pocket sized book which shows you how to make 32 different hand shadows. ( )

This miniature book is an adaptation of an original 1927 publication entitled "Shadowgraphs Anyone Can Make." Nursery rhymes by Jane Corby are interspersed with the original directions and illustrations for creating shadows that look like animals by contorting the hands. For example, creating a shadow version of a weasel is accompanied by the poem, "A Sly Weasel" with the opening couplet:

Here's a sly weasel, watch her creep
And suddenly she'll give a leap. ( )
