A decent read, but what sticks out most to me in this one is that the Hardy Boys traveled to the South Pole to help solve part of the mystery. I think that is the FURTHEST the Hardy Boys have ever been from Bayport! Lots of Antarctic name drops found in this exciting read -- like the Ross Ice Shelf and the Transantarctic Mountains. Plus some info on the Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen who first the first to reach the South Pole. Overall, a worthwhile read cause we get a geographical aspect while also enjoying a Hardy Boys mystery. ( )
