A pretty decent short romantic suspense. It suffers from being so short in that there isn't really time in this length of book to have both a fully realized romance and a fully realized mystery. So they fell in love in about 4 days. Shrug. It is what it is. Decently written. The involvement of the heroine in the mystery was over the top. I don't think the bad guys would have done quite so much to her in such a short time considering what the actual mystery was.

The best parts of the book were the meet and the fact that the hero was an ugly man who had been used by pretty women in his past and so had a fairly poor opinion of his attractiveness. ( )

Quick read. COuld improve with more character development, but not bad for the type that it is. ( )

I liked this book! Lots of action, suspense, and one hell of a cop that managed to save his 'lady' from all things that go bump in the night. I'd buy this book. ( )
