While this has elements of the original tale, the author adds her own characters for a new angle on the story. When I was young, I was completely obsessed with Greek Gods and Goddesses so I can imagine a 6th grader finding this book fascinating. I think that Aleta's embarrassment of her drunken mother might be something with which a child could also connect with. no reviews | add a review
