Started this thinking it was a series of short stories. Found it was her exploration of some of the characters in her fantasy novels. I had not read any and am not into fantasy, vampires or angels so did not get into the 1st story. Stopped there. ( )

This was very informative. It helped me remember the things I forgot and also helped me understand the society of the Blue Bloods. I lived how she put in different stories to explain why the charters were that way and also answering some of the questions I had about the series. It was definitely enjoyable to read. ( )

Background: Keys to the Repository is a supplementary text in the Blue Bloods series. It gives an in-depth look into the Repository files and information regarding the vampires and their past lives.

Review: Rated 2 stars-- Interesting read, but it really did not tell me anything I did not already know. Yes, there were a few short stories that took place before and after other parts of the series, but I feel like those pieces when they were missing were intended to have a bigger purpose, and that my imagination filled in those gaps a little better than the stories told here.

I think that this book would be good for someone who is interested in the characters, who maybe has not read the series, but then some of it might also be confusing. I am really not sure what this was intended to give the avid readers of this series...luckily I borrowed it from the library.

I liked having this little companion to the series. Some of it was a little redundant if you've read all the books, but I really enjoyed a break down of past lives, conduits and human familiars, as well as the angel names for the main characters. I also really enjoyed the little stories that weren't included in the books. An extra little glimpse into the world that I've come to love! Now it's back to the real meat of the series! ( )

This novella read like a text book. I know it's a kind of who's who among Blue Bloods, but it was kind of dry. I did enjoy Kingsley's remarks in some areas. ;) I was stoked about the short stories in here. I know I've read the one with Dylan before, but it was great seeing the emotion of Jack on their last night at Perry Street. I recommend this for those that want to know more about the characters. Also, if you have a hard time with what the words in the Sacred Language mean, this book has a nifty little appendix with the definitions.
