I believe I'm getting into this wild and crazy collection, even if I'm mostly out of the loop with all the things that DC has done in my absence. Who are these strange kids taking up Batman roles? Or Superman roles? Or just who the hell are the Titans?

Okay, maybe I know a little more than I think I think, but that's still not a damn lot.

I DID enjoy Dove kicking some ass. I may not know those silly kids (the Teen Titans), but I do think I like them. ( )

This TPB collection contained three of the 'in between' stories in the Blackest Night saga. Since it was a DC universe spanning story, that meant a boatload of stories in all kinds of titles. So here is collected, Batman, Superman and the Teen Titans stories.

They're interesting. Bad guys and good guys and even humans from the three titles coming back and torturing the heroes in various ways. I liked the Superman story best, mostly because it didn't just have superheroes fighting against super villains/heroes. Plus, I always love stories that involve the 'Superman Family' characters.

And, as in the Blackest Night overview TPB, I thought that the art was amazing. But, this TPB does get one less star because the artists didn't have to do white on white White Lantern scenes. Just grey and black ones. ( )
