It's amazing how this show resonates even 60 years later. I recently binged on this show, and even six decades later, so many of the episodes remain relevant, it's just mind-blowing. Despite special effects and some storylines that seem really cheesy, the series overall is one of these wonderful things that has aged far better than many shows or movies younger than it. There's several episodes involving Hitler/Nazism/fascism/war/etc that feel chillingly familiar in 2025.
The TNT commentator was right; the first season was about Gothic horror more than straight science fiction. I don't know if it is the greatest television horror/fantasy/sci-fi anthology series - I guess I'd have to give The Twilight Zone more points on technical merits - but I do know that it is my favorite.
A woman readily admits to trying to kill a well-respected local philanthropist with her car, and claims she intended to kill him and wants no defense. Sam takes her case anyway, and discovers that both the woman and the man she hit were inmates in a Nazi concentration camp. (fonte: Imdb)
