Travelogue in 'old Spain', in the 1930's, concentrates largely on buildings, both ecclesiastical and historic, with precious little about the people who lived in the towns and regions visited - their dress, work, cuisine and culture, etc., which was disappointing. These facets have changed mightily, while the buildings are mainly still there, very much as they were nearly a century ago.
