Audrey lives in San Francisco next to a community garden on a hill. During the summer, her and nee friends work on their garden everyday. On the garden they play games, count insects, and work with their plants watering, digging, and weeding. They use all types of tools and each plant something different. Every child has a different fruit or vegetable that they are planting to make their favorites food with their own recipes based on their different cultures. Once their produce is ready, show more they have a giant potluck with their neighborhood using the foods they grew and celebrating their hard work. Appropriate for ages 3-6.
