When I was a teenager (in the pre-Star Wars days, before science fiction had achieved a non-disreputable standing with the populace at large), I was not only devouring science fiction but also books about the pulp era of science fiction: [a:Isaac Asimov|16667|Isaac Asimov|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/authors/1341965730p2/16667.jpg]'s two-volume autobiography, and [b:The Futurians|832940|The Futurians|Damon Knight|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1292625169s/832940.jpg|818573], for show more example. That background made Take Back Tomorrow even more enjoyable. But you don't have to be a SF history nerd to enjoy this time travel tale. Just take it on its own merits. show less
