Well, this book is mind-blowing, never expected any of it but it was fantastic. Mason and Eden's story is a dark romance, they have been married for 15 years but secrets and lies take a toll on their relationship. This is not the usual romance read so be aware of it all, but be certain it will hook you from the start and you will be reading non-stop until the very end.

5 what did I just read stars

Holes titfire... This book was dark, filled with triggers, gritty, amid intense. And I loved every minute of it. This is definitely no rainbow, happy, sparkly type of romance. Oh no. Yet it is a romance because despite the horrors of this story, Cade and Ivy still managed to prove that love can survive the deepest and darkest of places.

I am a definite fan now.

NAILED IT! That is what comes to mind when I think about this book. Kathy Coopmans takes you away to another world when she writes, and that is what reading is supposed to do. This is the fourth book in the Syndicate Series and should really be read in order so you get the whole story behind the characters and what is going on.

When we left book 3, Dilan was shot, and took off to Lord only know where. Anna was left alone with the rest of the family to pick up the pieces of her heart.

When show more Dilan comes crashing back into Anna’s life, let’s just say it is in true Kathy form, HOT ALPHA Male. He had an agenda and was hell bent on carrying it out no matter who or what got in his way.

Anna continues to impress me with her steel resolve, and huge heart. She is the perfect woman for Dilan, and once they realize that the pages will burn.

The story in between is what really sets this aside from all others, the mob, the Mexican cartel, the Russian’s, this book has it all and does not disappoint in the action. It is not for the faint of heart that is for sure.

The Syndicate Series is epic in keeping you on the edge of your seat and Dilan is right there with the rest of them. I think of the four, this is my favorite, I think I said that about all of them, but really this one is IT! I have to say I want to give this one 10 Stars! Really!! show less

Holy Heat WAVE…. FIRE is HOT!!! This book picks up right where Ice leaves off, in the jungle of Mexico where the Drug Lord is holding Kaleb captive. Only who is it? Jade is furious at the team for leaving him behind.

Through gruesome scenes of torture and pain, Kaleb finds out who his captor really is. Jade and the team devise a plan to go back and save him. Without giving away too much, this part of the book was intense and not for the faint of heart, I loved it!!

Seriously, the intensity show more of this book is awesome! Jade and Kaleb’s love and anger filled relationship is mind blowing. The way they compliment each other is perfect. To say that you will find yourself putting this down and coming back to it is a total LIE!! I could NOT put it down at all!

Kathy and Hilary are on Fire with this series, I cannot wait to read the next book about Harris! This book gets 5 Super Stars from me!! show less
