This was one of the first books I purchased in order to pathwork with the runes, and was quite delighted to find that it was well-composed, thoughtful, with information on traditional casting methods that - though different to what I have been taught - were similar enough to lead me to believe that he has had some form of authentic training in runecasting.
Runes, and rune-work, really is a great strength of Kenneth Meadows, who devotes several pages to each aett, as well as each rune - show more including tree correspondences, spiritual and practical exercises (such as how to make your own casting cloth).
What is also valuable, is his 'case studies' or examples of rune castings and their interpretations at the back of the book, while they are rather simple, admittedly, they're still a great guide for a beginner, and I would recommend this book to anyone who is beginning in runes.
I believe it may be out of print now, but it is still worth securing. show less

Shamanic Experience
A Practical Guide To Extra-Sensory Perception
by Kenneth Meadows
This wonderful how-to and it's accompanying Shamanic drumming CD was a real treat to review. I enjoyed how the author slowly and thoroughly combined many different elements into a comprehensive and exciting guide to helping us learn more about and develop our spiritual gifts.
This 196 page book was jam packed with insightful and useful information and I especially like the graphs and illustrations in all the show more right places. I learned so much about trees guardians, about spirit animals, even about medicine wheels. I have added this awesome book to my spiritual tool box and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who is seeking new and old ways to follow their spiritual path. Thanks, Kenneth.

This book must be taken for what it is - essentially a commercial, new age, small pocket book that is filled with a lot of generic information. You're not going to find anything mindblowing here, but it is still a quirky, polished production that is more interesting than the small mainstream astrological bookmarks you can find.
This book is a fairly interesting work a general whole. The book gives various experiences beyond just describing things and practices. Some things in the book seemed a bit too New Age-like for my taste and not as much strictly about shamanism, but other then that it was a semi-decent book.
