Rabbit's on Tigger again about his carelessness and lack of consideration when he's bouncing about the Hundred-Acre Wood. But this time the wood itself reinforces Rabbit's nagging when Tigger runs afoul of some protective measures taken by various animals and plants. A nature lesson and a moral all wrapped up in a tidy little tale. Nice!

(My Pooh Project: I love Winnie the Pooh, and so does my wife. Having a daughter gave us a chance to indoctrinate her into the cult by buying and reading her show more every Pooh book we came across. How many is that? I’m going to count them this year by reading and reviewing one every day and seeing which month I finally run out. Track my progress here:

A windy day has Piglet all up in his PTSD as he flashes back to a previous day when the wind whisked him far into the air while he was holding a balloon. But Pooh takes him round the Hundred-Acre Wood meeting all their friends one-by-one, with each one giving an example of why wind is good, all before a book-ending party of course.

Anyone got a good hashtag for this rusty old and much-abused Pooh story structure? #hundredacrehacks #WinnieThePoohAndTropesToo #poohbearcirclejerk show more #poohsgenericadventurethesearchforanewplot

Owl forecasts a day with no rain or wind, so Pooh arranges a picnic with Piglet and Eeyore. When Owl proves a piss poor prognosticator, Pooh's picnic becomes a challenge in maintaining a positive attitude when things don't go your way. When life gives you wind, Pollyanna Pooh proposes, make kites.

Eeyore is tired of long and lonely nights alone in his gloomy place, so he thinks of adopting a pet. After deciding that dogs, cats and parrots won't work for him, he thinks he's found the perfect pet, little realizing there is a bittersweet turn in their future together. A Pooh story that is cute, funny, sad, and original -- just like Eeyore.
