Practically all children fight sleep, and the young bulldozer who narrates Dozers Don’t Doze is no different. The dozer explains to the reader that all the other large equipment vehicles go to sleep but he doesn’t, he reluctantly gets sleepier and sleepier. Still, he refuses to admit that he needs sleep like all the others.

What a fun and witty board book. I love the lilting rhymes and puns throughout this story. And the full-page illustrations are colorful and contain great detail. My show more toddler grandson loves trucks, tractors, cars and such, so I’m delighted to share this adorable book with him. It’s the perfect bedtime story for reluctant or willing sleepers.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher.

This board book was colorful, had cute illustrations, decent rhymes, and a sweet concept, but nothing within delighted me, it was just an okay book.

This is a lovely board book - love the words - love the drawings - love the subject of snuggling. The choices of the snuggling animals is wonderful - many are unique and very cute choices. I would recommend this as a good choice for a bedtime book.
Update: My niece (a teacher) read this to my 3-year-old great niece - they both loved this book.

This book is so adorable! Snuggles are best for both young kids and those older reading snugglers. I love that the story is told in rhyme as that makes it doubly fun to read. I also love that this book has a different animal on every other page so that gives the reader fun things to talk about with his or her special child.
