Wow. This book really blew my mind. Has excellent chapters on trees, hashing and sorting. Still relevant, even in 2005. The concepts are useful regardless of the programming language--Weiss simply uses JAVA to implement the concepts.
I read this book when I want to fall asleep. Sure, it's technically good information, but it's also mind-numbingly boring.
The only programming book I have read cover to cover and my first real programming book. Excellent coverage of ANSI/ISO C89. Compiler/OS agnostic and no 3rd party libraries covered. C++ intro at the end.
