Lovely book. Really brought me into the season. Doesn't focus so much on sin, but rather on clearing a space for God in our life. Wonderful exercises and a guide for small groups at the back. It also has ideas for Lenten practices. I found it very helpful.

We used this book as a study during Lent a couple of years ago. I remember it as being thoughtful, the point being the necessity of intentionally making time for God. Yes, it is easier said than done. I love my Presbyterian (PCUSA) church, and the fact they tolerate me and my occassionally heretical thoughts.
