About the Author

Lenard D. Moore, acclaimed poet and anthologist, is the founder and executive director of the Carolina African American Writers' Collective. He is the editor of One Window's Light: A Collection of Haiku and was the first African American president of the Haiku Society of America. His works, show more including most recently The Geography of Jazz, have been published in more than fifteen countries. He teaches at the University of Mount Olive where he is the poet-in-residence. show less
