This very short bunch of stories (less than 100 pages) gives a very different view of the life of a writer. The Devil makes an appearance. There is a story about a showdown between humans and AI. There is also the tale of a service called LoveReads. The only way an author can get someone to read their story is to pay them.
For any would-be writers, this book gives a very good idea of what the creative trenches are really like. These stories are very easy to read and understand.
