- Short biography
- Prolific writer and Church of Christ Minister. Dr. North's contributions to the mission field were similar to that of Batsell Barrett Baxter. He was the author of numerous books on theology and the Church of Christ in general (like Baxter), all of which are still in circulation today, and, like Batsell Barrett Baxter, Dr. North was also the host of a television series, but this one broadcast the services of Madison Church of Christ in Madison, Tennessee where Dr. North was a minister (unlike Baxter's Herald of Truth which simply broadcast Bible lessons across the nation). The Amazing Grace Bible Hour was broadcast all over the nation with Nick Boone (brother of Pat) as the song leader and Dr. North as minister. Dr. North retired from the ministry in the early 1980's after he was diagnosed with cancer. He died in 1983 at the age of 60. -- Bio by: Tim Crutchfield

Reviews
A book representing the author's experiences in promoting the Gospel.
The author provides many good ideas: profitable assemblies, strong community among believers, putting believers to work, strong preaching, maintaining balance.
Other ideas, such as duplicate services and involving the collective in all kinds of benevolent and other works, go beyond God's intentions for the community of believers and the role of the church.
A book worth consideration.
