"We should all live as if we were going to die tomorrow; we would have much fuller lives if we didn't assume we had all the time in the world."
100000% must read!
I loveddddd Follow My Voice so much. It was so sweet and so deep! It was complex and so simple and sweet all at the same time!
This book follows Klara, and the affect of her mother's passing and how that has shaped her. She ends up getting agoraphobia and basically has to figure out how to overcome this. One of the ways she ends up show more overcoming her fear of leaving the house, is she starts listening to this radio show with the cute and swoon worthy radio host Kang.
Follow My Voice is written so freaking well! The way Ariana has written all of the character's emotions just makes me feel for them and goshhhh, my heart. I can't even, it was too good and so heartbreaking and ughhhh. Just read it!
Overall, you REALLY don't want to miss out on this one. It's sure to leave you in tears (both sad and happy). Amazingly written and the characters are too cute!
"And finally, I hope that you will always know that you can be a guiding light in the midst of so much darkness and that you can help make someone else's light brighter by saying something nice or doing something for them without expecting anything in return. Help spread love, warmth, and light, because this world already has so much hate, darkness, and negativity." show less

This is the final book of the Hidalgo brothers trilogy by Ariana Godoy, and I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and complexity of the story. It revolves around Apolo, the youngest brother, who starts college with high hopes but faces a traumatic incident that changes his path. This leads to meeting Rain, a mysterious girl, and Xan, a café owner, unfolding a tale of friendship and hidden secrets. The book beautifully tackles themes of mental health, abuse, and bisexuality, offering a show more sensitive portrayal that I found both educational and moving. It deviated from my expectations of a typical romance, delving into darker, more meaningful topics. show less
This was an emotionally heartwarming read. It follows Klara, a nineteen-year-old battling agoraphobia after losing her mom and facing her own illness. Her world has shrunk to her bedroom, but the voice of Kang, a late-night college radio host, becomes her comfort. When a text message connects them beyond the airwaves, their bond gives Klara the courage to keep pushing forward. I really appreciated how the book handled mental health, showing progress as messy but possible, celebrating small show more victories, and never treating love as a cure. The romance was sweet and hopeful, though at times the pacing felt uneven. Still, it’s a moving story about healing, connection, and finding strength within yourself. show less
