This book is about a girl who is moved out to the west during the time of the Holocaust. She feels confused about her religious beliefs and doesn't know whether or not to follow them or change them to a different religion.

This book was okay for me. I did like how it does focus on confusion of religious values during such a hard time, but at the same time the book was not as interesting as I was hoping it would be.

One way to involve students in this book would be to have the students tell me show more of their moving experience and what that made them feel like. Or do reflections for the students on they each would feel about moving to a different place. show less
