Lou Richards (1923–2017)

There was a series of "... who laughed" books that came out back in the late 70s/early 80s and this was one of them. Filled with supposedly humorous Australian rules football related stories, "The footballer who laughed" does not age well. And that's probably the nicest thing I can say about it.

Lou Richards continued to have a successful media career after 1989, mainly on the Channel 9 television network. This work published after his retirement from the media is a timely updated version of his 1989 memoir, The Kiss of Death.
