I downloaded this out-of-print book today from Hathi Trust Digital Library. It appears to be very interesting, well written, and quite relevant to my current research on Roger Williams and seventeenth-century New England. Although the image of the book cover is accurate, the separate title assigned to it by Goodreads contains a misspelling: it is "Endecott," not "Endicott." The John Endecott who is the subject of this biography always spelled his last name as "Endecott," as evidenced by his show more handwritten signature. show less
