Some good old imperialism and colonialism for British kiddies of the late Victorian era. It’s certainly not a book I’d give to today’s children to read, but it was interesting from a historical perspective. The book contains pictures of children from across the British Empire, arranged from A-Z, and descriptions how each one contributes to the prosperity of the British Empire. The poor little Irish boy looked very ragged.
