Imagine being 16 years old and finding out you have cancer. Just when the fun is starting, you have to take a back seat to all of it.
Dave Bell faced just that. His book “Your Guide to Living Life Out Loud” takes you through his journey with cancer at the age of 16 and through life after treatment. Through it all, he continued to live “Life Out Loud” putting his life and trust in God in all aspects of his life.
From life before his cancer to life after, to his marriage and his miracle show more son, Dave Bell covers it all – the good and the bad. He shows how God has worked through his life at all stages and how his faith sustained him through the toughest times.
Each chapter has a “Life Out Loud Guide” with thought provoking questions to Think: Out Loud. Also sections to Read: Out Loud, Pray: Out Loud and Live: Out Loud, all designed to make you think, ask questions and understand how God works through people’s lives.
This would be a great book for a Christian study group.
For a deeper understanding of how cancer can change a person’s life, how they get through it and how if affect family and friends, I highly recommend reading this book.
