This is just the book I needed to get me out of my reading funk. It was a little bit naughty but a whole lot of fun. The more taboo the better for me.
Now this story is not for everyone. If you don't like anything taboo, then I think you might want to skip over this one. But just know that deep down this is a love story unlike anything I have read for a while. Under all the taboo subjects and society rules are two people who really love each other and really just want to be together. Even if show more their relationship is doomed from the start.
I loved everything about this book. The story and characters were beautifully written and I couldn't wait to find out what happened in the end. And what a beautiful ending it was. Just magical. show less

The Heroine:
So very very young, but so very very wise:
EXCERPT:
“But here’s a question that begs an answer: Who the hell is this ‘Society’ asshole who wrote the script? Who is he to choose who I can be friends with or who I’m allowed to love? I want to meet that sanctimonious prick because, I’m telling you, it must be one pretty fine high horse he’s riding.”
Her character is so accurately written for her age and the situations she finds herself in.
I love show more the hero and his complete helplessness when she invades his life.
They're both so sad and unhappy and miserable and disconsolate and all sorts of other synonyms for heartsick. Their story is heavy with negativity and I just wanted them to be TOGETHER.
Triggers galore.
There are a few characters whom I hope will get their comeuppance in the next book. I hope they hurt. Badly. Like Karma at its finest show less
