Fast, fast read! Was actually pleasant to have an 'amateur sleuth' who wasn't timid. Melissa Michaels, an herbalist, nutritional healer, baker, shop owner, etc. isn't easily intimidated.

A quick (again LOL) cozy mystery that was interesting, light & fun. Was a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours, and I'll probably buy more in the series (if they're cheap ).

A short mystery with characters that I am sure will be revisited in other books in this series. As an introduction to a new series it was a quick read, I felt no definite connection to any character. Could be read in an afternoon at the beach.

Quick easy read. Nice people. One very incompetent buffoon who could be scary with power on his side. Another nice cat.

Not a bad series. Enjoyable enough that as I finished book two I bought book four. Melody the librarian plays the accordion and at the moment lives with her mother in her home town having moved back from the big city.
