Life in an English Village: Sixteen Lithographs by Edward Bawden with an introductory essay by Noel Carrington by Edward Bawden
Only three stars because I am not the audience for this book! I was hoping to get a view of what a villager in the Tudor era might have experienced….and that was not something this book set out to do! It did warn me to take care of the difference between town and village - not to use these terms interchangeably - so that was important but….
