There certainly is research to suggest that boys find reading more challenging than girls, but many of the suggestions in this book are things that girls also will enjoy. There is also evidence that it is a female that does most of the suggesting to boys about reading. But isn't that also true about girls? Geared for the younger reader (up through middle school), this book offers some good lists to use when asked readers advisory questions.
