Shake-O

I wasn't sure what to expect, but it's a fun little manga. Although the school seems fairly normal at first, each chapter features a student with some bizarre attribute that's (in most cases at least) a metaphor for some real-life insecurity, concern or health problem. It's lively, fun, and I found the characters appealing despite their simplicity. As the stories go on, old characters recur and begin to build depth.

Another playful set of slapstick episodes with a monstrous cast of schoolkids and teachers. It's simple, amusing and doesn't take itself very seriously. Fun for me.
