Ben Weir

Rev. Benjamin Weir was seized on the streets of Beirut by a group of Muslim extremists in May of 1984. The ordeal of his 16 months imprisonment is described here. At the time of the kidnapping, Ben a Presbyterian minister and his wife Carol had lived in Lebanon for 31 years.
