Black and White Truth (The Syndicate-Born Trilogy #2), my second read from author K.M. Hodge I originally got this book back in January of 2017 & one thing lead to another and I never got around to reading it until now. Extremely well written, the characters, even the minor ones, are well developed with an attention-grabbing storyline. I’m a character reader, I get into the characters. Who and what they are. Why they do the things they do. The things that make the reader get invested into show more the characters and thereby the story. I’ll be reading more from this author! Better yet this is the second book in a multi-book series that I look forward to reading. Next up, True Blue Son (The Syndicate-Born Trilogy #3). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018). show less

Nice beginning to new series. I enjoyed the characters and the mystery is good. Not an easy subject (sex trafficking) but doesn't get into lots of details (at least not yet). Does end in cliffhanger so be warned!
