The Straw Bale Gardens Bible is more of an introduction and overview of Straw Bale Gardening than any type of instruction. The book refers to looking elsewhere for details on how to do this type of gardening. I was disappointed that there were no specifics - just repetitiveness about why one should garden this way and how it works in developments and city spaces. It says that this is an inexpensive way to go, but it thoroughly depends on the cost of straw as well as its availability.

If you show more just want the basic introduction to Straw Bale Gardening, this may be the book for you. If you are already familiar with the concept, this book may leave you disappointed.

This was an interesting book . We actually tried this way of gardening and some of it like tomatoes and flowers worked out very well. But in my garden not all of it .
