This book was incredibly informative and far exceeded my expectations-however it finds you, wherever you are spiritually make sure you read this book with an open mind as I can guarantee you will be enlightened! This book delves into the various aspects of a belief that Jesus isn't who Christians believe he is. The author provides readers with several well written accounts of historical evidence, and reasonings for this disbelief. He examines how it can be seen from different perspectives. show more For example, the author looks at the accounts of Jesus' birth, and life and how although Christians are known to see this story as an inspiration to many, something completely divine, these assertions are rebutted as fantasy meant to help Christians believe in a false narrative. The book also examines how the Bible has been interpreted differently throughout history and how this can affect our understanding of Jesus. Readers, you MUST know that there’s no way to predict how this book will resonate with you based upon any one review. I can easily see someone of a strong faith being offended by this book. It challenges most ideologies that Christian’s hold dearly. I mean there wasn’t one prominent Christian stronghold that wasn’t questioned. But you can see this book as an attack on your faith or an alternative hypothesis. The choice is entirely yours, but this book is enjoyable if you can be entertained by well-formed thoughts. I highly recommend it to others in a religious or spiritual community. show less
