Very charming. I like this new, refreshing take on the Swan Princess.
The messages are also good without being hamfisted; not judging people off on hearsay; propaganda; being content with what makes us different; we don't have to be our parents; try to choose rudeness over kindness; bears aren't your magical sidekick they are your equal or something like that lol
SN: I also thought those Beetle-Cows had a fun design.

A fantastic retelling of Swan Lake in a graphic novel format.
I loved the focus on accepting that our differences are what make us unique.
The illustrations were great.
A thoroughly enjoyable, fast paced, fantasy, graphic novel.

Adventure story for 6 , but I enjoyed it as an adult. It’s as good as you remember Saturday morning cartoons being—which is much better than they actually were. Bravo, recommended.
A collection of comics about the birth of viral webcomics. Some of them are about individual comics (e.g., This is Fine), and others are about full webcomic series (e.g., Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal). The art was pretty interesting, though I would have gotten more out of a lot of them if I'd been familiar with the memes beforehand. I particularly appreciated the examples of the comics in question, though it might have been helpful to have those before the story comics, to provide show more context. Either way, it was a fun (and wholly apropos) way of presenting some recent webcomic history. show less
