So far only read:
~ Fandom for Witches by Ruoxi Chen - DNF
I think it would be better enjoyed visually then audibly.
Opens with "Lara is a summer witch born with fruit rich on her tongue, a monkey god’s chittering beneath her skin, and a full July sun’s worth of love for love. Her ba claims to have read Pasternak, but she knows it was Julie Christie’s face he traced when he named her, Julie’s yellow-gold hair her ma made fun of him for admiring, bright as an August afternoon. ... " show more After a bit more of this it turns into a "chatroom" discussion with no warning. ugh! show less

As with any magazine, I liked some of these entries better than others. For this volume, I read only the flash fiction, short stories and poetry (I did not read the book excerpts or the non-fiction). My favorite of the bunch was "Visitor" by Kim Whysall-Hammond, though I did appreciate the variety of the pieces.
Favorite: My List of Bedtime Bogeyman Blues by Sarina Dorie. Hilarious and adorable.
So far only read:
~ Your Ticket to Hell by Rajan Khanna - 1*
I read it twice about 6 months apart because I forgot what it was about before I had a chance to write a review. A man "buys" a ticket to hell, I guess he thinks he deserves to be there. We never learn why.
I found it pointless, twice.
