I love Ian & Kathryn! They go to Vegas for work, celebrate too much & tie one on. When they awake the next morning, the night before was a haze. As they slowly piece things together, they look at each other in horror. They got married! Kathryn has a phobia about marriage & freaks out. Will they stay married? Stay a couple?

Cynthia has done a great job on these characters! Ian & Kathryn have flaws & hang ups just like the rest of us. I've enjoyed the other books about them but I think this one show more is my favorite! You still have the hot, steamy sex scenes but there is also a light-hearted line going through this one. At times, I actually found myself laughing at Kathryn & her reactions. At the same time, I felt for Ian. You could sense his character walking a fine line between supporting Kathryn & her marriage hang ups & being hurt over her insistence that she couldn't be married to him. I can't wait to see what Cynthia has in store for them next!

Wow! Hot! Katie & Ian had a relationship years ago. They are up for the same project and they make a bet that the loser has to submit to the other for an entire evening. This is a story of two strong willed people trying to find a way to make their personalities & tastes mesh together so that they can have a relationship. Neither one wants to give and it's quite a journey. Cynthia creates very complex characters and with her descriptive style, the scenes are very realistic. You really could show more believe in their passion. You find yourself rooting for them to find a way to stay together.

Loved this series. I ended up liking Adrienne, which wasn't possible in the beginning. The plot twists & turns continued to keep you involved in the story and wondering what would happen. The characters from her other stories were intertwined into the story but not in such a way that you needed to have read all of her books to understand. I laughed at the embarrassment her parents were causing through out. Let's face it, we all have relatives that are off the wall! The book runs you through show more all emotions and the sex scenes are spicy but not offensive. I feel you do need to read the first 2 books in the series to completely understand all that is happening in this book.
