This is difficult to read as it asks the reader to wade through a lot of theoretical principals....but what is REALLY useful is detail accounts of the development and passage of the Social Security Act, Wagner Act (wonderful history of 50 years of the development of US labor law, a detailed history of the Council on Foreign Relations, and though my edition is 25 years old, a relevant chapter that brings us to where we are now:Decline of Disruption and the Decline of show more Conservatism.pp257-282.
