The Nothing Man by John Keating
This is an exciting crime thriller with the format similar to that of John Sandford and CJ Box except the main character Eve is a writer luring the notorious serial killer out with her true crime book. We know the identity of the killer right from the beginning and the story is told from Eve and the killer's POV. It's a matter of catching him. Nice twists.
