I read this book quickly as various parts of the book had little application to me. Family, legality and other issues whilst important are not things that really interest me. That said some of the discussion around communication issues was thought provoking.

Peter Benson's Comprehensive English-Esperanto Dictionary is the most complete dictionary available for translating English into Esperanto. Words are listed in English with corresponding and extensive translations into Esperanto, including many expressions, turns of phrase, and figures of speech.For example, the dictionary entry for the word "board" gives Esperanto translations for an array of compound words and phrases with "board," including "boarding house," "on board," "chessboard," show more "sounding board," "spring board," and "to go by the board."This is a one-way dictionary (English to Esperanto) except for a small section on Esperanto neologisms (new words) at the end of the book. You can consult this dictionary to find a translation of an English word into Esperanto, but to look up an Esperanto word, a different dictionary is necessary.This edition is an exact reprint of the 1995 original edition.
