Princeton Review: Word Smart Genius: How to Build an Erudite Vocabulary (Princeton Review Series) by Michael Freedman
This book is lots of fun, with many words that are useful or at least interesting. My favorites from this reading are PILCROW (that little backwards P that stands for a new paragraph) and CALLIPYGIAN ("having shapely buttocks") -- those have gotta come in handy!
