The Boy Who Cried Wolf: Aesop Fable by R. F. Gilmor
Story about a boy who is entrusted to take care of a flock of sheep. He falsely tells the town people that a wolf is coming. When he truly needs help, nobody believes him. Story switches gears a couple of times. Good for asking questions and seeing how the main idea does not become clear until the very end of the story. Pierce County Library. 1st through 3rd grade
