I don't read a lot of the big 3 in DC because I always figure they're going to be boring by now. But this series has been pretty refreshing, plus I love Jae Lee's art. This story arc was particularly dark and I think it's kind of funny that they named it exactly what it was "Superman's Joker".
You would think exchanges like, "But he's just human, how will he survive?" "He's Batman." would get old, but somehow they don't. Maybe it's because I don't read a ton of Batman.
A strange mistake show more happened on this one. At the end I read Annual #2 instead of Annual #1, but it segued perfectly with the story arc. Then I read Annual #1 and it was totally unrelated. show less

The second volume of a collection of comic book creators' responses to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. All are of interest, some are compelling, a few are real tearjerkers. The memory of that day is still fresh enough that it doesn't take a lot, though. The ones that got to me most are "Wake Up", "Tradition", "Priorities", "No Sale", and "A Burning Hate". A good collection of creative reponses to the atrocities of that day, with the profits going to charities.
É um pouco confuso entender a duplicidade dos personagens, mas depois que você se acostuma, a coisa vai que é uma beleza...
E QUE ARTE SENSACIONAL!!!

Relatively accurate, detailed, and concise graphics add color to characters and hanging plot.
Overall, an interesting read.
