"Destiny of Shattered dreams" is the debut novel of Nilesh Rathod. The book portrays both personal and professional life of a big shot in the corporate world .

The blurb of the same on the backside cover of the book says about it as follows;

A tale of yachts and hidden swiss accounts , sordid affairs of lust,intrigue,and exhilarating highs , Nilesh Rathod's DESTINY OF SHATTERED DREAMS is also the story of innocence forever.

Fiction is more truthful than reality. When I hear from the media about show more a scam or fraud,I use to follow the same for sometime till there is news on it. Once the media gets a new juicy and sensational news they stop reporting about it.Here I see a book which has got a scam as its core and gives the full picture. It is a rare one for the like of me and I find it very engrossing.

The tale starts from the court where the judge announces his verdict of two years imprisonment to the protagonist namely Atul Shyamlal Malhotra , thirty five years old chairman and founder, CEO of Transmech Telecom Limited . All his 'behind the scene"activities like money laundering , bring him to the present situation and fetch bad name for the company.He tackles the bottlenecks in his own way .But it results in his downfall.

Meanwhile he encounters trails and tribulations in his married life leading to divorce and heading towards second marriage.

In spite of his wisdom and sharp intelligence he is becoming a scapegoat in the hands of the corrupt and greedy politicians . He comes across tragic situations including the "elimination " of a whistle blower ,his own employee.

Uniquely connecting the events in the business world Nilesh Rathod has projected a story unraveling the nexus between the head of a big corporate company and politicians with the precious cost of characters. The ending is surprisingly unpredictable and it is heartening to read it. Also the concept and execution are fantastic to be fit for making it as a movie.

Sometimes logic is missing. For example when the hero has got an ordeal with a politician he goes to another one to meet the same fate. Also I find some sentences are repeated and I can't catch the point .

This book is meant for all young and old. Those who have got interest in commerce, economics , and politics will enjoy it more.

Cover design by Mugdha Sadhwani and Photograph by Getty Images are nice and wonderful.

won the book in giveaway and I really liked the book. The way author has narrated the story makes the reader think how come such a person like Atul is in jail. The best part of the book is it shows how the life teaches us lesson, how it gives us happiness in abundance and then takes everything away. Destiny of Shattered Dreams really a GOODREAD
