Born in the mid-1960s in Nottingham, and familiar with the changing face of Nottingham through my parents, I found this book incredibly informative as well as nostalgia inducing! Reading this book, and looking in detail at the photographs - relocating which areas I could recall from my childhood - took the best part of several hours. Highly enjoyable for local folk and those with an interest in the changing face of English cities.
